Perform the duties of an Accounts Clerk for Easyterms Ltd.
The Accounts Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of clerical accounting duties to support the finance team's daily operations, including maintaining records, processing transactions, and assisting with bank reconciliations.
Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
and regulations.
Maintain and update general ledger accounts with proper documentation and record-keeping.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations; prepare and file tax returns as required, including VAT, NIB, and Business License.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accountant or CEO.
Perform other duties as assigned.
