Perform the duties of a Compliance Officer for Easyterms Ltd.
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all company activities, products, and services are in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role develops and oversees the company's compliance framework.
Design, implement, and manage the company's overall compliance program.
Monitor business practices and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and gaps.
Develop and deliver compliance training programs for all staff members.
Investigate and report any compliance breaches or incidents, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
Act as the liaison between Easyterms Ltd. and all relevant regulatory bodies.
Stay informed of new and evolving laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations.
Maintain meticulous records of all compliance-related activities, reports, and communications.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or senior management.
Create and maintain a comprehensive compliance risk register.
Work with legal counsel to interpret new regulations and implement changes.
Manage the company's licensing and permit renewal processes.
Review all marketing and client communication materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct internal investigations into alleged compliance breaches.
Serve as the data protection officer, ensuring compliance with privacy laws.
Provide expert advice on compliance matters to all departments.
Develop and manage a system for tracking and reporting on compliance metrics.
