Synology NAS Configuration
This is only a rough draft to be developed into a full SOP
Credentials
Credentials you'll need to set up access to the Synology NAS:

Setting up the server connection
In Finder command + K and then smb://firstname.lastname:password@192.168.89.15
To remember the server in the favorite servers, press the + symbol
Connect to EasyPayday to access the public files and home for private files.
Setting up the VPN for remote access
In settings, go to VPN and add a new L2TP Over IPSEC configuration
Based on the credentials provided insert the server address, VPN user name, VPN password and the shared secret
Select "Options" and turn on "Send all traffic over VPN connection"
Press OK to save the configuration
to access the server remotely, turn on the VPN, and then it is possible to access the NAS
